%26gt; Contact Sheet II Function CS - Resolution altering from pixels/inch to pixels/cm

%26gt;

%26gt;

%26gt; I am using CS3 with MAC OS X 10.4.11 when I create a contact sheet using File%26gt;Automate%26gt;Contact Sheet II, I set the 'Resolution' to 72 Pixels/Inch however once the contact sheet is created and I check the image size it has been reset to 28.346 Pixels/cm. This did not happen in CS2

%26gt;

%26gt; Does anyone know why this is happening? It is annoying as I have to manually reset the Resolution to Pixels/Inch for each Contact Sheet

%26gt;

%26gt; Thanks heaps

%26gt; Di

I ran into the same problem today, and (after lots of searching on the web, on these forums and in the Adobe Help Center, and after lots of trying) the solution appears to be simple and not too obvious:

Create a new document (File %26gt; New) and change the resolution to any value, PIXELS/INCH. (Proceed, and close your newly created document.)

Contact Sheet II apparently uses this ''preset'' resolution unit to create the contact sheet document, instead of the one set in the Contact Sheet II window (it's the same resolution, but converted to the other unit).

While you are certainly welcome to hang out here in the Photoshop/Mac forum, you would be better served by posting your concern in the Photoshop/Windows forum at http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.ee6b366

Thanks!
